Tell us about your internship!

33029697

We thought we'd do a public service and put together a little guide this month about LGBT-specific internships. As part of the guide, we're looking for testimonials from people who have interned at any of the following places -- or any other organization that you think LGBT students particularly would like to intern.

Tell us what the general intern life was like; was there free food? Was it an intimate organization? Were you really just there to make copies? Love it? Hate it?

Here's our list:

-Campus Progress
-HRC
-Lambda Legal
-National Center for Transgender Equality
-National Gay and Lesbian Task Force
-Servicemember’s Legal Defense Network
-Amnesty International
-GLSEN
-Log Cabin Republicans
-American Civil Liberties Union
-National Organization for Women
-GLAAD
-Add Your Gay-Friendly Internship Here.

If you want to be anonymous, that's ok (please, just indicate that!). We just want your input. So, all you have to do is email me at michelle.garcia {at} planetoutinc.com and give me a little blurb. I'm seriously not asking for a thesis. A paragraph or 2 will be just fine. If you want to comment below, that's cool too... It just ruins the surprise haha.
